2024 Outdoor Adventures Summer Eligibility Form

Youth Enrichment Services (YES) gives Boston youth opportunities to experience the outdoors, develop confidence, and build leadership skills through an array of diverse activities and experiences. The organization prioritizes serving low-and-moderate income Boston youth with a focus on young people living in the neighborhoods of Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, and Jamaica Plain. All youth are welcome at YES regardless of race, ethnicity, or economic status.

Outdoor Adventure (OA) is YES' summer camp program that gives young people the opportunity to explore the environment and develop meaningful relationships while having fun. Youth challenge themselves through outdoor activities such as: kayaking, rock climbing, paddle boarding, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, and canoeing.

Parents can select for their youth to attend our overnight camp experience, our day camp experience, or both! For the full Outdoor Adventure experience, we encourage youth to sign up for overnight and day camp.

Overnight Camp @ Swann Lodge (One Week) - Located in the Berkshire Mountains, youth who sign up for our overnight week will head to Swann Lodge, our lodge in the Berkshires, and experience a week of exploring the natural world around them! From nighttime campfire songs to hiking Mount Greylock, overnight camp is a chance for youth to get outside the city and explore. Acitivities will include kayaking, rock-climbing, paddle-boarding, hiking, swimming, fishing, and waterfall exploration.

Day Camp (Two Weeks) - Day Camp runs out of our Boston office on Mondays through Friday. Youth are dropped off at 8:30am and are picked up by either 4:00pm or 5:00pm. From our office, youth will head around the Boston area to experience outdoor activities in their own backyard, such as rock-climbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and mountain biking.
