As you complete your submission, we ask that you keep a couple of things in mind:

Please write out each step in complete sentences with proper punctuation. Keep sentences short and direct.
Write out words, measurements, increments of time, and ingredients fully – try not to use abbreviations to minimize confusion.
Please be as descriptive as possible when describing how to complete a step.
Don’t forget to say how long certain steps of the process take – either in timed increments or measurable results – where applicable. (Correct: “Boil for 10 minutes” “Boil until tender”; Incorrect: “Boil the pasta”)

Keeping these things in mind will help with the conciseness of the recipe, as well as how easy it will be for others to follow along with each step.
