Full Time School Application Form (Entry Autumn Term 22 - Summer Term 23)

Thank you for expressing an interest in making an application to our full time school.

The Sylvia Young Theatre School is a specialist performing arts school offering a high level of academic and vocational studies. Applicants will be invited to audition where they will be asked to prepare;

1) two short acting pieces (sent to you in advance by SYTS)

2) a song of applicants choice

3) a dance of applicants choice.

Applicants will sit an academic test in Maths & English.

To complete this form you will need to upload;

1) one photo of your child (file should be less than 20MB).

2) your child's most recent full academic school report.

3) your child's Birth Certificate.

In applying to Sylvia Young Theatre School you understand that a place will only be offered if the following conditions are fulfilled:

There is a space in the Year Group for which your child is auditioning
Your child is able to achieve academically with a full 5 day academic timetable condensed into 3 days
Full time students are automatically represented by the Sylvia Young Agency Ltd. which runs independently from the school. Please bear in mind that auditions and professional work are not guaranteed.
