Choose a category for the work you are submitting. These categories will assist the selection committee in making their decisions.


If you would like to submit different work in a different category, you may. For example, if you make paintings and films, you may complete one online submission for your paintings and another, separate submission for your films. You may submit a maximum of three times. However, each submission MUST include DIFFERENT work. You may NOT submit the same images of the same work in multiple categories. If you do, only your first submission will be considered. All other subsequent submissions will be disqualified.

Images must be jpegs, 72 ppi resolution, and no longer than 1000 pixels on the longest side.
Include the title, medium(s), dimensions, and price of each artwork.If an artwork is not for sale, type "NFS" in the price section.
 
Name your image files with your last name, first name, and image number (Ex: Doe_Jane_1.jpg).

Additional Information about the Art Fair and Submission Process:

Artists’ submissions will be reviewed by a panel of three jurors from the local art community. Acceptance will be based on artistic merit and available exhibition space.

Accepted artists must confirm their spot by agreeing to the AMF ART FAIR PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT, which includes all the festival policies and procedures (below) by Friday, May 11, 2018.

AMF ART FAIR PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT - FESTIVAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

The California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) Arts and Music Festival (AMF) is a selective arts and fine crafts fair. Participating artists’ spaces will be visited throughout the fair by AMF staff to ensure that artists are complying with festival policies. The AMF staff reserves the right to refuse exhibition of work not consistent with the quality and cohesiveness of submitted images. Artists that do not comply with festival policies will not be eligible for a refund.

Exhibition Spaces and Amenities:

Assigned spaces are 10’x10’ located along Camphor Walkway on the CSUSB campus. All work exhibited must be confined to the assigned space. Artists will be provided with one folding table (30”x72”) and two folding chairs. Artists are responsible for providing their own means of displaying their work.

Forms, Fees, and Sales:

There is no fee for participation. Parking on campus is $6.

Artists keep 100% of sales. Buyers purchase directly from the artists. Artists set their own prices and handle their own transactions by accepting their preferred method(s) of payment. Artists are responsible for collecting and paying the applicable California Sales Tax.

Parking, Check In, and Set Up:

Festival hours are from 4-9 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018.  Artists must check in between 1-4 p.m. and show a valid I.D. The check-in table will be located in front of the CSUSB Visual Arts Center / Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), next to Parking Lot M. Parking is available for artists in Lot A & L. Carts will be available for loading and transporting artwork and display materials until 4 p.m.

Participation:

Artists shall not sell counterfeit and/or stolen merchandise; 2) Artists must have a written policy covering defective merchandise, returns, and exchanges; 3) All work must be original and be designed and executed by the accepted artist(s); 4) Reproductions must be clearly identified as such; 5) Artists displaying work produced in editions must disclose edition numbers to the AMF audience; 6) All work exhibited must be of the quality and type that is shown in submitted images.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy:

Cancellations must be made in written form and submitted by mail or e-mail. E-mails can be sent to the AMF Art Fair Coordinator at ArtFairAMF@csusb.edu.  An AMF staff member will contact you via the phone number listed on your submission application to verify your cancellation. 

Artists who have not checked-in and/or notified an AMF staff member by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the festival (Friday, May 19, 2017) will be considered a “no-show.” Submissions for “no-shows” will not be accepted the year following the “no-show.”

There will be no “rain date” and fees will not be refunded in the case of inclement weather.

Promotion:

A press kit, including AMF logos will be available for download on the AMF website: amf.csusb.edu.

Security and Liability:

Artists shall not violate state or federal laws, or policies of California State University, San Bernardino.

Artists may be held financially responsible for any loss to or damage of university property.

California State University, San Bernardino and the Arts and Music Festival committee are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork or other materials.

Artists shall indemnify and hold harmless the California State University, San Bernardino, the Trustees of California State University, the State of California and all other departments, boards, commissions and its officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents from any and all losses and cost of damages of any kind in connection with the operation of the artist/vendor, and from any and all claims and losses accruing or resulting to any person, firm, or corporation, who may be injured or damaged by the use of equipment or materials at said event, or by actions of the artist/vendor organization, its agents, servants or employees.
