AGES 18+ (Tuesday 12/27 - Friday 12/30) 10am-3pm plus an additional open studio to schedule

 

Join us for a holiday binge! Whether you want to use the pottery wheel or handbuild with clay, immerse yourself for 4 full days of creating (12/ 27- 12/30). Our staff of ceramic artists will offer demonstrations and guidance(10am-12:30pm). From 12:30-3pm, you will have time to work on your own practicing and completing your work. The opportunity to concentrate on either a skill you would like to perfect or just have 4 days of uninterrupted ceramics is a gift to yourself.

 

Your work will remain in the studio to dry and be fired. You will then be able to sign up for one of our open studio sessions offered throughout the week and weekend, to glaze your work. All levels welcomed!

 

Fee: $400 (additional firing fees- .05 cents per cubic inch)

A creative and fun way for your child to spend the holiday! Part of the workshop will be working with clay- making all sorts of fun projects from cups to castles! Students will glaze their clay projects. The work will remain in our studio to dry and fire in our kiln. Later date pick up.

 

We will also be teaching the craft of paper making. Using paper pulp, dried vegetable/fruit, leaves, colorants, scents and other materials, this 2,000 old method of processing actual colorful and fun paper products is becoming all the rage!

 

Fee: $400

Your older child will also work with clay but have the opportunity to work on the pottery wheel (as well as handbuild). The students will glaze their work which will remain in the studio to dry and be fired in our kiln. Later pick up.
