I understand and agree to exercise normal care in maintaining the health, emotional and physical well-being of the foster dog. Including, but not limited to each of the following:
A. NOT to physically alter the appearance of the dog (example dock ears, or tail)
B. To provide fresh food, water and appropriate daily exercise and socialization for the dog.
C. To always keep the dog within a securely fenced area, or supervised on a leash.
D. To never allow the dog to be tied, chained, or tethered unsupervised in a yard for long periods of time. *

I understand and agree that rescue animals come into contact with many animals and environments on their path to adoption. They may be exposed to any number of common illnesses or parasite due to overcrowding, stress, environment changes and transport. We have started these rescued animals on a path of proper care, but at times illness can and may lay dormant with NO visible or detectable signs. Some things that trigger symptoms are stress, changes, and climate change. *

A. The dog may have been mistreated, neglected, or abused and that special care and precautions may be required.
B. 3 Dogs Rescue can and does not guarantee the health or temperament of the dog. 3 Dogs Rescue does not make any representation or warantee concerning the breed, health, condition, training, behavior, or temperment of the dog.
C. I agree to inform the rescue should I not be able to care for and foster the animal. *

I understand and agree that a fecal result on an adoptive animal can show negative result, however worms/parasites may appear after arrival. Fecal tests can detect parasites but said animal must have parasites passing/shedding of eggs or segments to test fully positive. *

I understand and agree that failure to properly supervise the dog's interactions with people and animals can have devastating consequences for which I, as the foster, am solely responsible. *

I agree to keep in contact with 3 Dogs Rescue in regards to the health, needs and all concerns/question I may have in regards to a foster dog. *

I understand that 3 Dogs Rescue is responsible for all normal vetting costs for the foster dog while in my care.
I further agree:
A. To contact 3 Dogs Rescue for vetting approval PRIOR to seeking vetting.
B. I will be responsible for all vetting costs which are not approved by 3 Dogs Rescue PRIOR to the veterinarian care being provided.
C. I will be responsible for all vetting needs should 3 Dogs Rescue determine that I was negligent or abusive in the care of the foster dog. *

I agree to immediately surrender the foster dog once an adopting family is secured, or immediately upon demand of 3 Dogs rescue. I further agree that I cannot keep the foster dog from an approved adopting family, or from 3 Dogs Rescue. *

I. I accept responsibility and enter into this foster agreement at my own risk. I acknowledge that the destruction of any personal or private property and injury to myself or others is my sole responsibility. I forever indemnify and hold harmless 3 Dogs Rescue, its officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, volunteers, successors, and assigns from any liability, loss, costs, or damage arising from this foster agreement, including but not limited to, bodily injury, personal injury, illness, scarring, death, damage to private or personal property, or any other loss or harm that may occur.

II. I hereby release, acquit, and discharge 3 Dogs Rescue, its officers, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, volunteers, successors, and assigns from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims, demands, debts, sums of money, accounts, compensation, contracts, controversies, promises, damages, costs, losses and expenses (including but not limited to attorney fees), liquidated or unliquidated, known or unknown that may occur as a result of this foster agreement.

III. In the event that any party to this Contract fails to take any action required by this Contract or takes action in violation of this Contract ("Breaching Party") and the other party ("Non-breaching Party") suffers any form of loss by virtue of the Breaching Party's failure to act or perform in accordance with this Contract, the Breaching Party shall fully indemnify the Non-breaching Party from any and all losses or damages suffered by the Non-breaching Party, including all costs of litigation, including any reasonable attorney's fees incurred through all appeals. 3 Dogs Rescue shall have all remedies, at law or in equity, including specific performance, in the event of the foster's breach of any provisions of this Contract.

IV. The waiver of a breach of any term, condition or covenant contained in this Contract shall not be considered to be a waiver of any other term, condition or covenant, or of any subsequent breach of any nature.

V. This Contract shall inure to and be binding upon the respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns of the parties.

VI. If any part of this Contract is held invalid, the remainder of the Contract shall not be affected, but shall remain in full force and effect.

VII. This Contract shall be governed by, construed under, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine without regard to the conflicts of law rules of the State of Maine. Any court action will be heard in York County, State of Maine.

Re: Resident Pet Vetting
With the best interests of all resident and foster animals in mind, 3 Dogs Rescue requires all resident pets of current foster families to be kept up to date on State mandated vaccinations including, Bordatella. Your signature below indicates that you, the foster parent, agree to keeping your current animals up to date on all vaccinations. 3 Dogs Rescue will take responsibility for vaccinating animals currently in their care, but placed in your home. *

Re: Crate and Material Agreement
I agree that 3 Dogs Rescue may lend me use of item(s) to aid in my volunteer foster position. I agree to maintain, to the best of my ability, item(s) in its lent condition. I agree NOT to lend item(s) to a third party. I agree to return, or make arrangements for the return, of item(s) to 3 Dogs Rescue main office at 27 Tall Timbers DR, Berwick, Maine, within 7 days of the date of adoption of my foster dog either by myself or another. 3 Dogs Rescue may extend this time period in consideration of use for another foster dog. I understand that I must have an approved Foster Contract on file to borrow crates, equipment and materials from 3 Dogs Rescue.
IF I fail to return item(s) listed herein, I agree to pay 3 Dogs Rescue for the replacement of borrowed item(s) as given below:
Crate up to 24" $20.00; Crate 24" - 30" $35.00; Crate over 30" $50.00; Any size exercise/x-pen $40.00; Other as agreed prior to use. *
