Applied Behavior Analysis

Re: Welcome to HealthCall!

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Thank you for choosing HealthCall Behavioral Services. We are excited to begin this journey with you and your child. It is our mission to cultivate a nurturing and individualized learning environment for each and every child by providing interdisciplinary clinical services and personalized care. Our unique classroom approach to autism therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) allows us to create the most effective therapy for your child while mimicking a typical school environment to best prepare your child for school and personal relationships. By incorporating natural environment teaching (NET), therapy is engaging and learned skills are more likely to be generalized into daily life.

HealthCall also supports the needs of our parents by offering both individual parent training and group parent training, which explains the principles of ABA. Parents who are properly supported and educated can carry out aspects of treatment at home that will greatly enhance the effectiveness of ABA therapy.  Following assessment, your child’s schedule will be prepared for each semester (September-December, January-June, June-August).

If you have a clinical question, please contact your child’s Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

If you have a medical question, please contact Erin Duchan, MD FAAP, Medical Director, (248) 395-3777, ext. 242.

If you need to cancel a session, please email absent@hchs.com.

This Family Packet includes select HealthCall policies and procedures as well as important documentation needed to initiate services.  It further incorporates by reference the most current version of HealthCall’s full Policy and Procedure Manual (the “Manual”); the Manual is available via the Client Portal, client.hchs.com. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as we collaborate to provide the best possible outcomes for your child.
