An insurance reminder
If you are renewing your FHT insurance, please make sure to read the documentation posted to you very carefully and keep it somewhere safe. You can also find important insurance information on our website.
Please note: your membership fees must be paid before or at the same time as your insurance to ensure your cover remains active. You will receive new insurance documentation, a new membership certificate and membership card upon renewal.

We offer tailor-made insurance policies for therapists, including: combined medical malpractice, public and products insurance for therapists (including elements of personal accident cover); stock and equipment; salon/clinic buildings and contents; and homeworker cover.

Membership declaration
I can confirm that there is no reason why FHT should not accept me as a member for another 12 months. While I am a practising therapist and member of the FHT, I will abide by the FHT Code of Conduct and Professional Practice ( and terms and conditions of membership (, undertake suitable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each year (applicable to FHT Member and Fellow grades only - Associates, Affiliates and Students are not required to complete CPD) and hold medical malpractice and public liability insurance. I agree that the FHT may hold my details as supplied. I agree that FHT has the right to allocate the appropriate membership status and grade. FHT’s decision in this regard is final. I acknowledge that membership fees are non-refundable or transferable.
If I am renewing an FHT insurance policy, I confirm that no facts material to my insurance cover have changed since my original application and there are no insurance claims pending against me. Material facts are those, which an insurer would regard as likely to influence the acceptance or assessment of the risk. I understand that failure to disclose material facts may render the cover invalid, which means that insurers may not pay claims.
