WHO ARE YOU NOMINATING?
 


The President's Award is given by the president of the General Alumni Association (GAA) to an alumnus or alumna volunteer who has made outstanding contributions to promoting the activities and goals of the Academy within the past two years. Such contributions include: exceptional work within an Academy-defined volunteer role such as class officer, class agent or regional volunteer or performing other extraordinary types of service. See past recipients.
 
The deadline for submission of nominations is June 1. This award is presented during Exeter Leadership Weekend in September of the current calendar year.

The Founders' Day Award is given to a living alumnus, alumna, faculty emeritus or emerita, retired staff member, parent or friend who has demonstrated exceptional volunteer service to the Academy. The volunteer should have rendered extraordinary service for over five years. See past recipients.

The deadline for submission of nominations is August 15. This award will be presented during May reunions in the following calendar year.

The John and Elizabeth Phillips Award is given to a living alumnus or alumna of the Academy whose life demonstrates co-founders John and Elizabeth Phillips' ideal of goodness and knowledge united in noble character and usefulness to humankind. The nominee should have contributed significantly to the welfare of community, country or humanity, beyond any volunteer service to the Academy. See past recipients.

The deadline for submission of nominations is August 15. This award will be presented in October of the following calendar year.
