Hallspace Student Gallery

Exhibit Interest / Exhibit Proposal Form

Hallspace Gallery is an exhibition space dedicated to hosting student artwork and curatorial projects. Hallspace provides Exeter students with the opportunity to exhibit artwork and work with Lamont Gallery staff to help guide them through a hands-on experience of exhibition planning, curating, and installation.

Please complete this form if you have a body of work, a small group of coherent artworks, that you are interested in showing in the Hallspace Gallery. There will be 3 exhibition slots available for the 2023-2024 school year. You may also submit a proposal for the fall of 2024 (dates of exhibit TBD).

There will be three rounds of exhibition selections:

- October 11: First Round proposals due for Exhibit slot 1

- December 1: Second Round proposals due for Exhibit slots 2 and 3

- April 9: Third Round proposals due for Fall 2024 exhibit slot

Before submitting this form, please review all guidelines and deadlines on our Exeter Connect page.

Will this be a solo exhibit, or will you be working with a partner or group? *
Is the artwork you want to display already finished? *

Did you make any of this work in an art course here at Exeter?

Reminder: Hallspace Exhibitions cannot include works made in ART500 or ART690 courses since these artworks will already be displayed in the annual student exhibition in the Lamont Gallery.

 *
Will you be showing photographs in this exhibit? *
Are your photographs already printed?
Do you have digital images of your artwork? *

Select the exhibits that would work best for you.
Please be sure to review the complete list of deadlines for each exhibit before selecting. *

Please note: Hallspace is located in the hallway of the Frederick R. Mayer Art Center and will be monitored by gallery staff during Lamont Gallery hours. However, it is not under 24-hour surveillance. Like all buildings on campus, the Frederick R. Mayer Art Center is accessible to members of the PEA community through swipe card access. Students agree to display artwork at their own risk.
