TB Questionnaire

Tuberculosis, also known as TB, is a bacterial infection that attacks the lungs and, sometimes, other parts of the body. It is spread when someone infected with the disease coughs or sneezes and the bacteria is inhaled by someone nearby.

Pursuant to Kansas Statute KSA 2012 Supp. 65-129e, Salina Area Technical College requires students to complete a Tuberculosis Screening Questionnaire, to aid in prevention and control of Tuberculosis as required by State of Kansas Department of Health & Environment.

This is an important health issue so do not delay in obtaining further testing if indicated. SATC reserves the right to drop high risk and/or affected students from classes to ensure the safety of all students.
