What is an EAC representative?
The Employees' Advisory Council (EAC) represents Pinellas County classified employees. The group serves in an advisory capacity to the Pinellas County Personnel Board concerning personnel matters, policies, rules, and regulations affecting employees. There are 14 elected EAC representatives and 1 at-large representative in the council.
What are the EAC representative requirements?
- Be a regular status, full-time classified employee
- Have at least one year of service with Pinellas County
- Work in a department within the area represented
- Obtain supervisor approval (candidates and their supervisors will be contacted later for approval)
- Serve a two-year term from January to December of the following year
- Attend monthly representative meetings from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
- Attend the bi-monthly delegate meetings from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on the 4th Thursday in January, March, May, July, and September and the 3rd Thursday in November.
- Attend other assigned committee meetings
- Facilitate communication between delegates and the Council to channel information for their group’s employees, including meeting agendas, minutes, and questions/concerns
- Ensure that each of the delegate areas in their group is staffed per the EAC Bylaws

This is not a ballot. Only one form needs to be submitted per candidate. Nominations must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024.
