Monthly Bundle: The minutes of usage included in the Monthly Bundle apply to the following types of mobile-originated calls: Iridium to PSTN voice calls, Iridium to Cellular voice calls, Iridium to Iridium voice calls and Iridium voicemail calls. Other types of calls are not included in the Monthly Bundle. The Monthly Bundle is consumed on a first-usage basis each month, and the unused part of the Monthly Bundle is lost and does not roll to a subsequent month.
Calling Rates: The customer agrees to pay for all calls made or received by the Iridium phone including any out-of-bundle usage as per the rates found in this agreement. All calls are measured and charged in one (1) minute increments. The following calling rates apply to out-of-bundle calls:
- Basic Rate Calls include voice calls from the Iridium phone to cellular numbers and fixed public-switched-telephone-network numbers (PSTN), data calls to PSTN numbers, data calls to Iridium numbers, data calls to the Iridium Direct Internet Server, Iridium fax calls to a PSTN number, Iridium-to-RUDICS calls and RUDICS-to-Iridium calls. Out-of-Bundle Basic Rate Calls are charged at the rate listed above for the plan you selected.
- Incoming calls received via Two-Stage Dialing are $1.50 per minute. Two-Stage Dialing means that the calling party dials the US area code 480-768-2500 number and enters your 12-digit Iridium mobile number. Two-Stage Dialing calls that are forwarded to your Iridium voicemail or other third party number will be billed to your Iridium account. This plan includes voicemail and RUDICS.
- Incoming calls received via US Access Number are $1.50 per minute. US Number Access is an optional service for an additional monthly fee that provides a U.S. phone number for receiving inbound calls to your Iridium phone. Calls received through this number will be billed even if the call is forwarded to your voicemail or other third party number.
- Incoming calls received via Direct Dialing are free. Direct Dialing means that the calling party dialed your Iridium phone’s 12-digit mobile number (country code 8816). Though these calls will not be charged to your Iridium phone’s account, it is important to understand that the calling party will pay for these calls through their own telecom carrier.

Voice calls to other Iridium mobile numbers or your own Iridium voicemail are $0.85 per minute.

All other call types not explicitely listed in this agreement including calls to other mobile satellite networks (MSS) are $9.99 per minute.
SMS Messaging: Outbound SMS messages are billed as indicated on the plan you selected above. Inbound SMS messages are free. SMS messages can be up to 160 characters. Some phone models support long SMS messages up to 1000 characters which are billed as a series of separate SMS messages of 160-character length (or less). Undeliverable messages from errors unrelated to the Iridium network such as problems with mail filters, mailbox overflows, or incorrect addresses remain billable. 25 outbound SMS messages per month are included; the unused part of the Text Bundle is lost and does not roll to a subsequent month.
Minimum Term and Plan Change Requests: The Initial Term of this Service Agreement is measured from the activation date. If the service is cancelled by the Customer prior to the end of the Initial Term, there is an early cancellation charge equal to the total monthly service charges remaining on the Initial Term of the Agreement, except that no early cancellation charge will apply if Outfitter Satellite increases the Monthly Fee or any per minute usage rate during the Initial Term of this Service Agreement. After the Initial Term is completed the Service Agreement has automatic one (1) month renewal terms for each subsequent month, and the customer can cancel without penalty at any time. A plan change request is effective on the first of the subsequent month (the “effective date”) and the Initial Term of the new plan’s Service Agreement(s) will begin as of that effective date.
Payment Method: Credit approval is based on a valid U.S. credit card, substantial deposit, approved company purchase order, or a Dunn & Bradstreet credit report. By default, the Customer’s credit card will be billed automatically each month for the charges described in this agreement. If Customer does not provide the U.S. credit card for the automatic monthly billing, an additional $2 per month per phone charge will apply, and the Customer agrees to pay within 30 days of the statement date for service continuation. Payment must be made by check drawn on a US bank, money order, wire transfer, or a U.S. credit card.
