Basic Rate Calls include mobile-originated voice calls to cellular, PSTN, Iridium numbers and Iridium voicemail. PSTN refers to public-switched-telephone-network numbers worldwide.
Monthly Bundle: Monthly Bundle applies only to Basic Rate Calls. All other types of calls are not included in the Monthly Bundle. The Monthly Bundle is consumed on a first-usage basis each month, and the unused part of the Monthly Bundle is lost and does not roll to a subsequent month.
Other Out-of-Bundle Calling Rates:
- Standard Data Calls are billed at $1.29 per minute.
- Incoming calls using US Number Access or 2-Stage Dialing are billed at $1.79 per minute.
- Incoming calls using US Number Access (+1 Access) at $1.39 per minute.
- Incoming Calls direct dialed to your Iridium mobile number are FREE.
- All other call types including calls to other satellite networks are billed at $12.99 per minute.
General Information: The customer agrees to pay for all calls made or received including any out-of-bundle usage according to the rates found in this agreement. All calls are measured and charged in one (1) minute increments. This plan includes voicemail and RUDICS. Inbound Calls: If a call is direct dialed to your Iridium phone’s 12-digit mobile number (to 8816 country code), the calling party pays for the call through their own carrier, and there is no charge billed to your Iridium phone’s account. Calls to your Iridium phone can also be made via 2-Stage Dialing (by dialing the US number 480-768-2500 and entering your 12-digit Iridium mobile number). US Number Access, also known as +1 Access, is an optional service for an additional monthly fee that provides a dedicated U.S. phone number for receiving inbound calls on your Iridium phone. If an inbound call is received through 2-Stage Dialing or US Number Access, a charge will be billed to your account as indicated on the rates in this agreement. Calls that are received through 2-Stage Dialing or US Number Access calls that are forwarded to Iridium voicemail or another third party number also will be billed to your Iridium account. Standard Data calls include data calls to PSTN numbers, data calls to Iridium numbers, data calls to the Iridium Direct Internet Server, Iridium fax calls to a PSTN number, Iridium-to-RUDICS calls and RUDICS-to-Iridium calls. Standard Data Calls are always out-of-bundle calls. SMS Messaging: Inbound SMS messages are free. Outbound SMS messages can be up to 160 characters. Some phone models support long SMS messages up to 1000 characters which are billed as a series of separate SMS messages of 160-character length (or less). Undeliverable messages from errors unrelated to the Iridium network such as problems with mail filters, mailbox overflows, or incorrect addresses remain billable. Optional Text Bundle provides a monthly bundle of outbound SMS messages. The unused part of the Text Bundle is lost and does not roll to a subsequent month.
Payment Method: Credit approval is based on a valid U.S. credit card, substantial deposit, approved company purchase order, or a Dunn & Bradstreet credit report. By default, the Customer’s credit card will be billed automatically each month for the charges described in this agreement. If Customer does not provide the U.S. credit card for the automatic monthly billing, an additional $2 per month per phone charge will apply, and the Customer agrees to pay within 30 days of the statement date for service continuation. Payment must be made by check drawn on a US bank, money order, wire transfer, or a U.S. credit card.
Minimum Term: The Initial Term of this Service Agreement is measured from the activation date. If the service is cancelled prior to the end of the Initial Term, there is an early cancellation charge equal to either the monthly service charges for 4 months or the total monthly service charges remaining on the Initial Term of the Agreement, whichever is the lesser amount. After the Initial Term is completed the Service Agreement has automatic one (1) month renewal terms for each subsequent month and the customer can cancel without penalty at any time. Plan Change Requests: If a plan change request is made for a date preceding the end of the Initial Term of the original plan’s Service Agreement, then there is an early cancellation charge equal to either the monthly service charges for 4 months of the original plan or the total monthly service charges remaining on the Initial Term of the original plan’s Service Agreement, whichever is the lesser amount. The plan change request will become effective on the first of the subsequent month (the “effective date”) and the Initial Term of the new plan’s Service Agreement(s) will begin as of that effective date.
Cancellation Procedure: To cancel service, the CUSTOMER must provide Outfitter Satellite with an express written, signed intent to cancel. The CUSTOMER remains responsible for airtime and other usage until 3 business days after the CUSTOMER’s requested service cancellation date, and if this service cancellation date is after the 25th of a month, the CUSTOMER is liable for any service fees to be billed in the subsequent month. Upon cancellation, there is no refund or proration for unused bundled or prepaid usage or any service fees.
