Terms and Conditions

Payment Method: Credit approval is based on a valid U.S. credit card, substantial deposit, approved company purchase order, or a Dunn & Bradstreet credit report. By default, the Customer’s credit card will be billed automatically each month for the charges described in this agreement. If Customer does not provide the U.S. credit card for the automatic monthly billing, an additional $2 per month per phone charge will apply, and the Customer agrees to pay within 30 days of the statement date for service continuation. Payment must be made by check drawn on a US bank, money order, wire transfer, or a U.S. credit card.

BGAN Standard Plus Plan
 
Rate Chart and Additional Terms and Conditions For This Plan:

Billing: Customer agrees to pay for all data and calls sent or received through the BGAN terminal. Standard IP data usage is billed in tiers according to the total usage of Standard IP data during a calendar month (see chart). For example, if you use 19 MB of Standard IP, there will be no Usage Charge or if you use 251 MB of Standard IP you would be billed $750. Standard IP data access sessions are measured in 100 KB increments with a 100 KB minimum per “session CDR”. A session CDR is generated for every 2 MB of usage or every 12 hours of connection time, whichever comes first. Voice and Streaming IP services are billed in 30 second increments with a 30 second minimum per call. SMS messages are limited to 160 characters, and charges apply for each addressed recipient even if an SMS message is not received. Customer is advised that other types of calls not shown in the rate chart can be at much higher rates, and the Customer is responsible to know the rate before making the call. Definitions: Public Switched Telephone Number (PSTN); Mobile Satellite Service (MSS); Inmarsat Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN); Inmarsat FleetBroadband (FBB); Inmarsat SwiftBroadband (SBB); Inmarsat Global Satellite Phone Service (GSPS); Short Message Service (SMS); Megabyte of Standard IP data (MB); Kilobyte of Standard IP data (KB).

Initial Term: This Service Agreement has an Initial Term of 12 months as measured from the activation date of the specific Unit being provisioned. The month of activation counts as the first whole month of the Initial Term of the contract, regardless of the day of the month of the activation. Breach of this Agreement by early cancellation will result in an early cancellation charge equal to the total monthly service charges remaining on the Initial Term. After the Initial Term is completed the Service Agreement has automatic one month renewal terms for each subsequent month but the customer can cancel without penalty any time.

Cancellation Procedure: To cancel service, the CUSTOMER must provide Outfitter Satellite with an express written, signed intent to cancel. The CUSTOMER remains responsible for airtime and other usage until 3 business days after the CUSTOMER’s requested service cancellation date, and if this service cancellation date is after the 25th of a month, the CUSTOMER is liable for any service fees to be billed in the subsequent month. Upon cancellation, there is no refund or proration for unused bundled or prepaid usage or any service fees. Rate Chart and Additional Terms and Conditions For This Plan:

Money Bundle: The Money Bundle applies to all types of usage (except fixed-to-mobile calls). The unused part of the Money Bundle are lost and do not roll to a subsequent month.

Billing: Customer agrees to pay for all data and calls sent or received through the BGAN terminal. Standard IP data is offered on a best-effort basis; KB refers to a kilobyte of data; MB refers to a megabyte of data; kbps refers to a data rate in kilobits per second; CDR means call detail record; ISDN services include: circuit-switched data calls at 56 kbps, 64 kbps or 3.1 kHz Audio. Standard IP data access sessions are billed in 100 KB increments with a 100 KB minimum per “session CDR”; a session CDR is generated for every 2 MB of usage or every 12 hours of connection time, whichever comes first. Voice, ISDN, and streaming IP services are billed in 30 second increments with a 30 second minimum per call. SMS messages are limited to 160 characters, and charges apply for each addressed recipient even if an SMS message is not received. Customer is advised that other types of calls not shown in the rate chart can be at much higher rates, and the Customer is responsible to know the rate before making the call. By default, ISDN and streaming IP data services are disabled unless requested by the Customer. Customer is advised that other types of calls not shown in the rate chart can be at much higher rates, and the Customer is responsible to know the rate before making the call.

Monthly Data Bundle: The Monthly Data Bundle only applies to Standard IP data. The unused part of the Monthly Data Bundle is lost and does not roll to a subsequent month. Additional Standard IP data used during the calendar month will be billed at the Out-of-Bundle Standard IP Data rate. Monthly Voice Bundle with Rollover: The Monthly Voice Bundle minutes applies only to mobile-originated voice calls made to PSTN or cellular numbers. Unused minutes from the Monthly Voice Bundle rollover to subsequent months until they are used, except that no more than the plan’s Maximum Rollover of 300 unused minutes can rollover to a subsequent month, and unused minutes that do not qualify to rollover are lost. If the Customer cancels service or makes a service plan change, the unused Monthly Voice Bundle minutes (including the rollover minutes) are lost. There will be no refund or proration for lost minutes.

Initial Term and Plan Change Requests: The Initial Term of this Service Agreement is measured from the activation date. If the service is cancelled prior to the end of the Initial Term, there is an early cancellation charge equal to the total monthly service charges remaining on the Initial Term of the Agreement. After the Initial Term is completed the Service Agreement has automatic one (1) month renewal terms for each subsequent month and the customer can cancel without penalty at any time. A plan change request is effective on the first of the subsequent month (the “effective date”) and the Initial Term of the new plan’s Service Agreement(s) will begin as of that effective date.

Credit Card Information

IMPORTANT:  Before your service is activated and/or your order is shipped, you must submit your credit card information into our secure credit card web portal.  Once we receive your completed service agreement, our customer service team will send an email to the main email address listed on this form with an enclosed link to our secure credit card portal where you will enter and save your credit card information.  Service agreements received outside of normal business hours will be processed the following business day.   We cannot activate service if the credit card information or Security Code for the card cannot be verified by our system. 

For your protection, Outfitter Satellite systems or personnel do not see your full credit card information.   Our billing system only stores tokenized information to enable it to use the card to pay future charges related to the service (or rental) agreements active under your account.   For future card identification, we retain the card type, the last four digits of the card, and the expiration date. 

By signing below, you warrant that you are the Cardholder or an authorized user of any card that is entered into the secure credit card web portal and agree that all charges described in this agreement (and any other service or rental agreements) made between OUTFITTER SATELLITE, INC. and the above named Customer can be made to the Cardholder’s credit card.  You warrant all the information that you are submitting is accurate and that the credit card that you are supplying through the secure credit card web portal is being supplied as a guarantee that all the charges described in this agreement (and any other service or rental agreements on the Customer’s Outfitter Satellite account) will be paid.

Why do we need you to name an Authorized User?  This person needs to be a trusted individual such as a spouse or business associate that can act on your behalf in the event we are unable to reach you. In the event that there is a billing or technical issue that could affect your service, this person can act on your behalf to assist in continuing or restoring your service.  

What is an Authorized User with Full Access rights?  An Authorized User with Full Access rights is authorized by the Customer to discuss and view all rental and usage bills including detailed call records and make changes to rental or service plans including canceling service or activating new service, and receive technical support as per the terms of this agreement or other agreements executed separately by the Customer.

Authorized Users On Account - Corporate

Why do we need you to name additional Authorized Users?   For corporate accounts,  naming the Accounts Payable person for your company an Authorized User is necessary to allow them to discuss billing issues and information.  It is also useful for us to identify other people within the company that can discuss billing issues, make purchases, or receive technical support related to your account in the event we are unable to reach you.

What is an Authorized User with Full Access rights versus Technical Support rights only?  An Authorized User with Full Access rights is authorized by the Customer to discuss and view all rental and usage bills including detailed call records and make changes to rental or service plans including canceling service or activating new service, and receive technical support as per the terms of this agreement or other agreements executed separately by the Customer. A customer with Technical Support rights is only authorized to receive technical guidance on the use of the satellite communications equipment.
