Abstract Guidelines
  • Abstracts should be maximum of 250 words.
  • Try to keep the abstract title relatively brief. Do not use all caps.
  • List authors: Last, First, Credentials.
  • Edit abstract carefully and check for errors. They will be published as they are received.
  • All submitted abstracts should adhere to the following format:

    1. Introduction
    2. Methods
    3. Results
    4. Discussions/Conclusion

  • Abstracts accepted as online submission only.
  • At least one author must be an active member of the Washington or Oregon Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
  • The corresponding author should be the person responsible for receiving all communication and coordinating with the presenter.
  • Abstracts submitted to national meetings in the past year will be considered but should not have been published by the time of submission.
  • The abstract deadline is March 1, 2022
