Big Data Opportunities Using the NIMH Data Archive (NDA)

Established in 2008, the NIMH Data Archive now shares de-identified human subjects research data on over 100,000 research participants across hundreds of cognitive, diagnostic and clinical measures. Additional large datasets from over 10,000 exome sequences, 2,000 MRI, fMRI, EEG, and eye tracking experiments make NDA one of the largest human subject data repositories. This SfN 2015 satellite workshop will help educate the neuroscience community on the best practices used to drive scientific discovery.

To further contribute to the data sharing opportunities conversation, Scientific Data of the Nature Publishing Group will be present to give a brief talk on their recently published draft guidelines on sharing clinical data.
