In addition to attending the DIR 204 course, you must also serve as a voluntary intern in a live online DIR 201 or 202 course during the same trimester. You will be sent a link to choose your internship options at the completion of this form. Internships will be assigned on the basis of first-come-first-served and based on the judgment of ICDL for the best learning experience for all involved.  If necessary due to demand, we may allow internships in DIR 203 courses as well.

Course Prerequisite Requirements

To register for DIR 204 you are required to have successfully completed DIR 203 and have been awarded a DIRFloortime Advanced Certificate at least 3 months prior to starting DIR 204.  In addition, participants must have earned at least a Master's degree from a university or college in occupational therapy, speech therapy, education, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, marriage and family therapy, medicine, music therapy, or physical therapy. If you have a degree in a related field and want to see if it can be considered, please email training@icdl.com.  Degrees in Criminal Justice or Applied Behavioral Analysis do not qualify. If you do not have a Master's or Doctorate degree, but have a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of professional experience, you may be eligible to waive the Master's degree requirement.
