10. Campers are permitted to leave their group on their own. This is a bit of a tricky question, and the information in the training pdf is not quite correct, so I'l just tell you. Normally campers must stay with their group throughout the day. However, during free time activities they are free to move to whichever activity interests them. If they want to do an activity in a different building (eg. floor hockey), they must wait until a designated time to move to that location (usually every 20 minutes we offer a change of location), and must be escorted from one building to the next. *

All Encounter campers & staff have a right to a caring, respectful and safe camp environment where they will encounter the love of God in action.   Encounter staff will take action to prevent bullying, teach against it, and assist and support any campers or staff who are being bullied.   Please read the Policy on the Prevention of Bullying.
