iCLOUD / iTUNES ACCOUNT

Attention Managers: Do not setup the new hires devices for them. The new hire must setup their own device and store their own created passwords.
 
First you will need to sign into an existing Apple ID or create an Apple ID so applications and updates can successfully install on your device.
We recommend that you create a new personal email to use for your Apple ID / iTunes account such as an iCloud or Google email. DO NOT USE YOUR ECOLAB EMAIL ADDRESS.
Enter the personal email address or other existing Apple ID if applicable
Otherwise select “Don’t have an Apple ID" and create one with a personal email address.
When signed in it should look like the below:
Make sure you are signed into the iTunes / App Store.

CHANGE YOUR PASSCODE

Please change your passcode from the
default 1037 code.
 
 
 
Enter your New Passcode here:
You will do this Two (2) Times.

 

DELETING APPLICATIONS

Press and hold down the app you wish to delete and the app menu appears.

Click "Remove App" and a pop-up will appear
to confirm deleting the app.  Select "Delete App"

ONE EXCEPTION:  DO NOT DELETE
the PestService app.

Why?  It contains your worked service data.
If your phone is NOT
commuicating with Ecolab
there a chance you could lose your finished
services.  This can cause pay issues.

MOVING AND ORGANIZING APPLICATIONS

Press and hold down on the app you wish to move
until the menu appears.  Select Edit Home Screen.

The icons wiggle.


It can now be dragged around OR
dragged on top of other icons to
form a folder.

Voicemail Troubleshooting

Issue 1:  Its requesting a PIN on launch
Issue 2:  Voicemail box - still not set up.
Issue 3:  Cannot save voicemail: error message: see below screen.

Answer 1:  Requesting a PIN  - you can create a
7 (seven)
digit pin.

Answer 2:  Attempt to resave message up to
two times.

iPHONE DATA USAGE TIPS

1. Use Wi-Fi as much as possible.

 a) If the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi, it defaults to this connection for data.

2. Pick and choose which apps use cellular data.

a) There are two areas to change this: Settings – scroll to app on bottom and/or Cellular – Cellular Data.
