What do you need help with?

1. Complete the electronic scope of service:

2. Complete the ELD if not already completed:

3. After 1 to 2 business days, 'Manage Customer Access' button will be available on the Pest Portal to give the customer access to their eLogbook. Once the button is available, do the following:
 
    A. Log into Pest Portal
    B. Search for the Customer
    C. Select the Customer under the search results
    D. On the Customer Details page, click on the Manage Customer Access form
 
You will need the following information to complete the form:
 
   - Customer Email Address
   - Customer Name
   - Customer Role/Title
 
If the 'Manage Customer Access' button is not available after 2 business days, contact your Regional Admin.

4. Place the eLogbook Insert into the Paper Logbook (copies given during Regional meetings) and date the form the day you place the insert in the book.
My customer has not received the Welcome Email
 
Tell your customer to:
  1. Check their SPAM/JUNK folder
  2. If the email is not found, have the customer:
      1. Log into customer.ecolab.com
      2. Click “Login"
      3. Click on "Need help signing in?"
      4. Click on “Forget Password”
      5. Enter your User Name (email address given at the time of set-up)
      6. Click on “Reset Via Email”
      7. An email will be sent to you asking to set up a password and then log into the Ecolab Pest Portal
      8. URL for Ecolab Pest Portal: https://customer.ecolab.com – you can return here when you have a password and log in normally

How far back does the eLogbook keep Service Reports?
The eLogbook keeps two years of Service Reports. If absolutely required for an auditor, you can request older documents by emailing PestPortal@ecolab.com.

How do the annual applicator licenses get updated into the eLogbook?
Your Regional Administrator will continue to work with you to get the updated electronic copy and upload these documents into the eLogbook.

How will we update the Pesticide Usage Report?
The Pesticide Usage Report will auto-populate directly from what is entered in the PestService app. No need to match it up to the Service Report - it happens automatically. If product usage is incorrectly entered in the PestService app, a new Service Report will need to be issued to correct the error. Once the new Service Report is issued, it will change the data in the eLogbook.

Is the product usage populated on the ProScan report?
The ProScan report is being replaced by Pest Trends Insights found on the Trends tab of the eLogbook. The same data you scan will be presented in an electronic format instead of paper. (ProScan Reporting will be discontinued).

How do the Equipment Location Diagrams get uploaded?
The SVSP requests a new ELD using link provided on the Pest Portal (keyword search: ‘F&B Toolkit’). The request is sent to the GIS Team to create the new ELD and upload into the eLogbook.

How are temporary ELD diagrams handled?
Temporary ELD diagrams will NOT be uploaded into the eLogbook at this time. A paper document will need to be placed in the paper logbook.

How do the Scopes of Services get updated?
The SVSP is responsible for making sure the Scope of Service is current. The SVSP updates the Scope for equipment and program changes. Customer signature is required. Same process as paper logbook, except the document is now electronic, instead of paper. The Electronic Scope of Service form link is found in the F&B Toolkit on the Pest Portal.

Are Organic Scopes included in the eLogbook?
Not at this time. They will be added at a future date. Organic Scopes need to be printed and placed in the paper logbook.

Will the certifications of the F&B Technical Specialists who perform Risk Assessments at customer sites be included in the eLogbook?
Yes. F&B Technical Specialists assigned to customers will have the ability to upload their own certifications to those customer’s eLogbooks.

If I am not the primary SVSP at an account, will I need to add my license and training certifications to the paper logbook?
No. Your license and training certifications will automatically be uploaded to the account’s eLogbook.

Will customer-specific scopes be included in the eLogbook?
No. Customer-specific scopes or certifications with their name on it will not be in the eLogbook. These documents need to remain in a paper logbook.

What if my customer does not have electronic capability?
We will continue to offer paper logbooks for locations (Depots, etc.) that do not have electronic access.

Will customers that have multiple buildings with different account numbers have different eLogbooks?
Yes. If there are separate account numbers, there will be separate eLogbooks.

How many individuals at the plant can have access to the eLogbook?
Multiple users can be set up to access the eLogbook.

How will we handle the Corrective Action Recommendation Assessment?
This assessment process is changing from a manual, paper process to an electronic assessment conducted directly through the PestService app and updated automatically to the eLogbook. These can be conducted at a minimum of one time per year unless the customer prefers more frequently.

How will I confirm everything is correct in the eLogbook?
When you visit with your customer ask them to open up the eLogbook and verify with them on where to find information. You can also access the eLogbook via the Pest Portal on your iPhone.

Do I need to order a paper logbook for an eLogbook customer?
Yes, the DM is responsible for ordering paper logbooks for eLogbook customers. eLogbook customers would have a slightly different logbook which only contains those documents not available in the eLogbook.

What happens if my iPhone is down and I cannot complete service?
Utilize the Equipment Log Sheet when your iPhone is down.

Why am I not seeing the Trend Reporting, Service Reports, and/or Pesticide Usage Log when I click on the link?
You must use Google Chrome or Safari as your browser to view this information.

How much does transitioning to the eLogbook cost?
For existing street accounts, there is no cost to transitioning to eLogbook.

Do I throw away the old paper logbook when my customer moves to eLogbook?
No. You will need to maintain a paper logbook for certain documents that will not be available in the eLogbook (i.e. Pest Sighting Log, Temporary ELDs, etc). Plus, the Auditor will need the old records for reference.
How do I add or remove customer access to eLogbook?
 
To add a customer:
 
    1. Log into Pest Portal
    2. Search for the Customer
    3. Select the Customer under the search results
    4. On the Customer Details page, click on the Manage Customer Access form
 
To remove a customer:
 
    1. Click here to email BAM support
    2. Include the account number and name of the customer that you would like removed.
