The ADA will provide complimentary remote or on-site access to credentialed members of the media, including print, broadcast, and online media, for the express purpose of gathering news and information to produce news coverage of the 84th Scientific Sessions. Media registration is intended for representatives of news media outlets that provide widely accessible, regularly appearing, original news coverage to professionals and the general public. Please note, press briefings will only be available for in-person media; virtual media will not have access.
Representatives from qualified media outlets must represent the editorial staff, not the advertising or marketing staff of their news organization. Publishers of books and magazines, and representatives of sales, advertising, or marketing departments of publications and broadcast outlets are not considered part of the editorial staff and are not permitted to register as media.
News organizations seeking media credentials must be members of the editorial staff, and media registration is limited to a maximum of three individuals per outlet/news organization for in-person attendance in Orlando, Florida. Additional journalists may attend from the same outlet virtually.
Members of the media who are approved and register will receive a “virtual briefing packet” containing embargoed materials in advance of the scheduled research presentations. In addition, a fully staffed press team will be able to assist approved members of the media in securing interviews.
Please review the requirements for media registration.
Please complete this form, attaching all requested documents, to be considered for press registration. The deadline to apply for access is June 14, 2024.
NOTE: Completing this form does NOT register you for the meeting. If approved, you will receive registration instructions in your acceptance letter.
