Welcome to the Onation!

Welcome to Cheer Omega! Our mission at Cheer Omega is to enrich the lives of the children and their families through the sport of competitive cheerleading. Our goal each day is to teach our athletes the value of commitment, hard work, integrity, leadership, self-confidence, positive attitudes and a love for the sport. Each and every family is important to us and our program. Welcome to Our Family!

Please be prepared to turn in the following information at your Evaluation Time

  • Financial Commitment/Credit Card Info page
  • Cheer Omega Tryout Form
  • New Member Information Form and Waiver
  • Startup Tryout and Registration Fees- $100 ($25 discount if packet is filled out before May 5th!)
  • FREE Two Weeks of Grand Reopening Classes if Startup Tryout and Registration Fees are paid by May 11th. (Classes will begin pending when the governor gives the green light for us to reopen, based on a 6:1 instructor ratio while following social distancing guidelines.)

***NOTE: $25 is due at tryouts, however, the remaining $75 can be paid at your first practice***

IN PERSON TRYOUT DATES/TIMES:

At Cheer Omega, we believe that each child has strengths that may not always be showcased in a group evaluation setting. For this reason, along with safety reasons in accordance with current CDC standards, we are holding private evaluations for our 2020-21 season. During each tryout slot, only 2 athletes will be able to tryout in the gym at a time, one on each spring floor. Each athlete upon entering must be fever free, and sanitize before and after entering the gym. Coaches will also adhear to 6 ft span from the athlete during the evaluation. Because of this, no spotting will be allowed at team placements. Only skills that the athlete can do alone will be shown. Although this season's tryouts will be slightly different from past years, overall private tryouts are a great way to get to know each athlete and their parents. Evaluations are currently scheduled to be conducted between May 25th - June 6th. We will keep everyone informed if any changes to these dates occur, pending updates from the CDC or governor. Evaluations are conducted with a Cheer Omega staff member and then a brief parent meeting with each family will follow. We believe in having an open line of communication with families, and that communication will begin as soon as your child begins his or her journey with us. Cheer Omega was created to be a place for EVERY athlete to realize and reach their true potential.

VIRTUAL OR PREVIOUS ATHLETE "FASTPASS" TRYOUT TIMES:

Virtual or Fast Pass tryouts will be accepted May 1st - June 6th.

VIRTUAL TRYOUT: Any athlete who needs to have a virtual evaluation rather than an in person evaluation, will absolutely be permitted to do so. After filling out this form and selecting "Virtual Tryout", add up to 5 videos that showcase your highest level of stunting and tumbling to be used for your virtual team placement. If you are brand new to cheer, but would like to do a virtual tryout and don't have any videos, just let us know - Cheer Omega has a place for everyone!

FASTPASS TRYOUT: Any current Cheer Omega athletes who have the same stunting and tumbling skills as the previous season, are also able to be placed without a tryout with a "Fast Pass" team placement. Virtual and Fastpass tryouts are still responsible for the same start up fees as in person tryouts. $25 is due after filling out your tryout form to be placed on a team (Unless you have filled out your packet by May 4th- Then NO fee is due to be placed on a team!) The remaining $75 registration fee will be due at your first practice.

*Levels and Programs offered at Cheer Omega*

At Cheer Omega, we truly have a place for everyone by offering all Elite All Star levels 1- 6, for beginners all the way through the most advanced athletes. We are also proud to offer two Worlds teams, a traditional Worlds Coed 6 team and a Non Tumble International Worlds 6 team. For anyone looking for an entry to cheer or a program with a lesser cost and time committment, we also offer levels 1-3 of All Star Prep. For our youngest athletes, we have a Tiny Novice program specifically designed for 3-4 year olds. Our newest program, FUNdamentals is a 12 week entry level course to competitive cheer and will be offered two times during the season, with session 1 beginning in the fall.

NOTE: 3-4 year olds do NOT need to try out. They will be automatically placed on a Tiny Novice team

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Detailed tuition rates are listed on page of this form. We are proud to offer a very competitive All Star Cheerleading rate and encourage you to ask about any discounts that may benefit your family.

Q: Who are the coaches?

A: Our entire coaching staff is certified through USASF. Other certifications include but are not limited to USA-Gymnastics Professional and Safety Certifications, CPR Certifications, and AACCA Certifications. All of our coaches have also been highly trained on the best spotting/coaching techniques for all levels to ensure each child’s safety. We are privileged to have one of the most experienced and knowledgeable group of coaches in the country. All of our coaches believe strongly in the Cheer Omega mission and are excited to create the best competition experience for your cheerleader.

Q: Does everyone make a team?

A: Yes! We have teams for all ages and skill levels!

Q: What competitions do we attend?

A: Competition Schedule is located at the back of this packet. Please note that competitions may be added or removed.

Q: How do you select teams?

A: We select teams to be the most competitive in each level. We base these placements on physical ability (jumps, stunts, tumble, motions, etc.), as well as past cheer experience.

Q: Are you locked into a full year financial contract?

A: No. We believe in a open door policy at Cheer Omega and want every child to be truly happy in their cheer environment. It is for this reason that we know that once you walk into our doors, you will experience a true difference. Therefore our contract focuses on signing off on policies and rules of our program, and not a 12 month financial contract. However, if you choose to leave the program midseason for any reason, no refunds for funds already paid will be given.

Q: Do you offer fundraising for athletes?

A: Yes! Along with Sponsor forms and traditional fundraising opportunities, we also offer ways for athletes to earn credits towards their accounts by participating in stunt classes or other activities to help out at the gym. If your athlete is interested in any of these options, please let us know!

Q: What levels can my child make for their age?

A: We follow USASF guidelines each year. A few changes have been made for this season and USASF will now go by each athletes birth year. The Early Release age grid is below or click HERE to view online:
