Welcome to Project Local.  Started in 2014 to provide funding and resources for small, local 501(c)3 or charitable organizations.

Project Local will select one organization and support them with the following:

A single grant up to $5000
Spotlight on the Project Local web site for a quarter
Free booth space at select Richmond local area events during the quarter (or time-relative festival season)
Presence in our ongoing marketing efforts (radio, billboard, print, web, social media)

In order for your organization To be considered, the organization must meet the following criteria:

Be a recognized 501(c)3 organization by the IRS
Be a registered 501(c)3 or other charitable organization by the State of Virginia
Have less than four (4) employees
Have annual gross receipts of less than $100,000

Project Local’s main goal is to help small, local organizations with big hearts and small funding. Obviously, we can not help every worthwile cause, but we pledge to do our best to help those who help others as much as possible in our local communtiy
